Where We Measure and Fit Across West Cork
Fitters work out of Enniskeane, so your town is in the catchment if it sits in West Cork or mid Cork. Bandon is fifteen minutes away, Skibbereen thirty-nine, Cork city forty-five. Every time below is a measured drive from the shop door.
The radius
The Fitting Radius From Enniskeane
Because the vans are ours, the radius is what it is. Roughly forty-five kilometres covers it comfortably.
Inside that ring you get two visits: one to measure, one to fit. Outside it, ring anyway. We have gone further for a big job and we will say yes or no on the phone rather than waste your time.

Fifteen minutes

Bandon
Your nearest big town if you are east of us, and the busiest one on the list. Fifteen minutes down the road, and the fitters are in and out of it constantly.
Everything from a single kitchen blind to a full house. Everything on curtains and blinds in Bandon sits on its own page.

Eighteen minutes
Clonakilty
A town with a lot of restored houses, a lot of holiday lets, and a busy trade side that wants a job done between seasons.
Salt air and bright rooms change what you should hang. Here is how we handle curtains and blinds in Clonakilty.
Sixteen minutes
Dunmanway
West of us, and a different kind of housing stock. Farmhouses, bungalows, big windows and long runs that need proper track rather than a pole off a shelf.
Warm linings matter more out this way. Details for curtains and blinds in Dunmanway are on its own page.
Thirty-nine minutes
Skibbereen
Right at the far edge of the radius, and nobody here will pretend otherwise. Thirty-nine minutes each way means both visits get planned properly.
It is worth it for a full house or a commercial room. See how curtains and blinds in Skibbereen are arranged.
Thirty-eight minutes
Kinsale
East along the coast, and the most design-led town we work in. Period sash windows, harbour light, guesthouses, and restaurants.
The outer ring
Cork City and the Outer Edge
Cork city is forty-five minutes and we do go there, mostly for whole houses and commercial rooms rather than a single window.
Bantry, Macroom, Kanturk, and out towards Youghal are the same story. Ring with the job and the address and we will tell you straight whether it makes sense.
Ask
If Your Town Is Not on the List
The list above is not a fence. It is just the towns we are in most often.
Ring 023 884 7123 with where you are and what you need. If the drive does not add up you will be told straight out, and you will usually be pointed at somebody nearer who can do it.
Questions About Where We Cover
These are what people ring to ask before booking. Anything else is quicker on the phone.
F.A.Q.
Do you charge to travel out?
Ring and ask when you book. It depends on the size of the job and the distance.
How many visits does a job take?
Two as a rule. One to measure, one to fit. A design job can take more.
Do you deliver without fitting?
We do. Delivery is listed on our Google profile, and plenty of people collect from the shop as well.
Can you come out on a Saturday?
Sometimes. Saturday is a shop day, so ask early and we will see what the fitters can do.
Is my town covered if it is not on the list?
Ring and ask. The list is the towns the vans are in most often, not a boundary, and curtains and blinds in Clonakilty covers a lot of the coast road besides the town.
Do you travel to Cork city?
Cork city is about forty-five minutes and the vans do go, mostly for whole houses and commercial rooms. Nearer in, curtains and blinds in Bandon is the busiest run on the list.
How do you decide if a job is worth travelling to?
Distance against the size of the job. You get a straight answer on the phone before anybody books a date, rather than after you have waited.
Next step
If your town is not on the list, ring anyway. Most of West Cork is inside the round trip.
